Site and contact
Field Notes is an independently maintained game guide. The contact for this policy is the site editor at Obiblessings544@gmail.com.
Hosting and security
Cloudflare hosts and delivers the site and protects its traffic. It processes technical request information, which can include IP addresses, requested URLs and browser or system information. Security features may use cookies to distinguish legitimate visitors from abusive traffic. See Cloudflare's privacy policy and its cookie information.
Website measurement
The live site loads a Cloudflare measurement script for page-view and performance information. These measurements help assess loading speed and website use. See Cloudflare Web Analytics for details of that service.
The live site also uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page visits, traffic sources, and device and browser information. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. See Google’s privacy policy and Google’s cookie information. You can block the analytics script or manage cookies through your browser.
Search and language selection
Article search and category filters run in your browser. The search feature does not send your search text to a search service. Language selection opens a page in the selected language; that page request is handled by the hosting service.
YouTube and external links
Video covers are stored with the site. Clicking a play link loads a YouTube player. Once loaded, YouTube receives connection and viewing information and may use cookies or show advertising under Google's privacy policy. You can choose the original YouTube link instead of playing the video here.
Links to stores, sources and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.
Email correspondence
If you email the editor, your email address, message and attachments are used to handle your request. The mailbox is provided by Gmail, a Google service. Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with the request and its follow-up, then deleted unless it is still needed to meet a legal obligation.
Your choices
You can manage or clear cookies through your browser and choose whether to load an embedded video. Contact Obiblessings544@gmail.com to ask about, correct or request deletion of information you have sent. Identify the message or information concerned so the editor can locate it.
Advertising and policy updates
Article pages display Google AdSense ads after the article.
On the live site, Google and its advertising partners may process IP addresses, browser information, ad interactions and cookies or other local-storage identifiers to deliver, measure and, where consent permits, personalize ads. See Google's advertising information and My Ad Center for advertising controls. Where a consent message is shown, use it to accept, refuse or manage your choices. Browser cookie controls are also available.
Ads inside a YouTube player are controlled by YouTube. This policy is updated when site services or advertising arrangements change; the date above identifies the current version.
